The VA has the Veteran Transportation Service or VTS. It will pick you up for your appointment and drop you back home. They need a 3 business day advance notice and can make your reservations on line at WWW.Vetride.net. Or call their office by dialing the VA Hospital operator, and ask for extension 55044, Veterans Transportation Service
The VA has a bus you need to call the main number and ask for transportation and they will connect you . You probably will have to wait until Friday 8:00 am to talk to them.
DAV has pick up in some areas. Ask about that when you call tomorrow phone 503-220-8262. Hit zero if no description fits you. Also. Tri met has an Honored Citizen program in Portland to help elderly and disabled get to medical appointments.
