Yes they do. I was missing several screws from a dining room table I purchased, and they had a bin full of different screws/parts for the items. There is a guide to look up your missing part number and you just take what you need. Pretty cool if you ask me!
It probably depends on the item. Small things probably just get returned and replaced. Big items probably have to have parts ordered.
