I believe its 365 with the receipt. You can always try selling it elsewhere like ebay.
This would be a question to ask a manager at the store. If it's still in the package and it's an item they currently stock, they will likely be amenable to this request.
Looks like this is Ikea's return policy. Seems like it's 365 days with a receipt. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/customer-service/returns-claims/ It also might be good to give them a call.
