I purchased a item just over a year ago. (Before moving) through storage and slowing unpacking and getting set up I found it and it's not what we needed/wanted. Can I still return it since it's been over the 3y5 days?

I believe its 365 with the receipt. You can always try selling it elsewhere like ebay.

This would be a question to ask a manager at the store. If it's still in the package and it's an item they currently stock, they will likely be amenable to this request.
