We would prefer visitors drive up. We don't really have parking available except at the top of the mound.
Driving is easier and safer than walking. You'll enjoy the mound better when driving because their are hiking trails up top to enjoy.
If you walk up be careful because cars are using that path and there isn't really a shoulder that I remember.
Yes , you can park down and then walking up
