Campground is super clean and they are always cleaning something. The sites are long but very close together. You barely have space for your tow vehicle. Super close to downtown Galena. We were there on a Wednesday,Thursday, and left Friday. There were many open sites and they put someone right next to us on Thursday and there were at least 5 sites in each direction on either side of us that were open. Why??? Campers are very friendly but also love the privacy especially if you don't have kids and they put a whole camper full right next to us!. They have a nice pool and also a mini golf course. Walking distance to a Culver's.

We recently stayed at Palace this past weekend for Memorial Day. It was a packed house. We had a full hookup site and it was TIGHT! If you like camping in the city, and on top of your neighbor, then this place if for you! Pros: No golf cart traffic, and speed bumps to slow down motorist. Mini golf and Glow golf were fun Wifi worked great most of the weekend Cons: Playground is very small and dated Right off a busy road with a lot of traffic all day and night No fire rings, or fire pit at our site Not enough room to even have a fire, if we had a pit.

Well kept grounds, fair price, nice - clean pool, don't feel like your right next to your neighbor. Been a regular visitor for over 20 years. Tends to fill up on weekends tho so book ahead

For the last four years we have visited The Palace for the weekend of the 4th. We have family in Galeena and spend most of our time with them. We always have the kids over to swim and eat one night. Last year, I lost my glitter Tumblr that I had custom-made. The palace took the time to mail it to me at no charge. What May seem like a small gesture was huge for us. We just booked our week this summer and couldn’t be happier!

Galena and Dubuque Iowa is not far also, I'm sure they have stations to handle your propane needs.
We camped next to the cabins last weekend...they look very very tiny.
Best answer is to call the campground. I believe that they are open year round, but without water at campsites during winter months.
All cabins have fire rings. They sell wood at the office
It's just sleeping cabins. All that's in there is beds. You have to bring your own bedding and blankets and pillows
They have tp
Um, this is sending the question to people who reviewed, this seems like the kind of question you need to ask the owners.
I agree, call them. Places usually hang onto urely that are left for a while. Won't hurt to give them a call. Good luck, i know they're not cheap to replace.
Very good
The long term campers stay in a different spot than the short term ones. But they stay in the same spot all summer. Enjoy.
