The tunnel is about 1,617 foot but there is a gate about half way through. The gate is locked for safety reasons. It is very, very dark, cool and dripping wet. Important! Take flashlights to really enjoy the tunnel. Phillip is right make sure to visit the waterfall. To get a good view of it you may want to hike down the side of the hill to get to the base. Both are really enjoyable to visit. There is a $5 charge for parking. Take correct change as it is on the honor system.

1600 ft. It actually goes back farther but is blocked by a locked gate. Better take flashlights. Make sure you check out the waterfall while there.
