We have a reservation for a tent site this summer (July 5-9) We use a small utility trailer to carry all our stuff. It's 4X8 feet. Will that be a problem? should we reserve a parking space for it?

Dave, your site may easily fit your trailer, as all sites have a parking spot. Sites 16, 17, 21, and 22 are huge. 19 barely fits a truck. Best to call HQ, and ask.

I agree, just to be on the safe side. While we were there, someone had left a vehicle in the day hike parking area, for multiple days. They had a stack of tickets and a boot on the car. There are rules about parking, due to limited space. The staff there is wonderful and will take great care of you.

Do make a reservation. The appalachin trail head creates summer business.
