Out of the multiple times I've been there, there's only been once that they weren't packed with customers. Do bear in mind that they're a recent arrival in Walla Walla and they're outclassing most of the local chain establishments with a limited number of people available, so it'll be a while before things calm. My advice to beat the seemingly slow line would be to either place an order online (always timely) or research the ebb and flow of local customer traffic and plan for a spot in line when there's a lull.
They were busy when I was there and got us in and right out.... Way to go mods pizza
Please bear in mind that this a newer restaurant. It takes time to get it all together. But also rember that the people who are ordering are normally the slow ones. The last time we were there this was the case. Also I have been in the Mod in Tacoma WA and they were slow, because they were busy. This is not a McDonald's.
Angel, Michael and Robin are spot on. Give 'em a break. If you like the food, review the speed again next March. If still slow, well, read the above àgain or only go at off peak times. Even if you call the order in, you should be able to eat it in the restaurant. Enjoy.
