Is Apple Hill walkable? To see the bakeries and stores/markets? Or do you have to drive to different locations?

Apple Hill is a collective of growers. Each is a stand alone venue, walkable individually but you will drive between farms. A lovely day.

Start at the bottom and work your way to the top. You will need to drive though. Scuba Steve's answer is very accurate. I wasnt impressed with Boa Vista. It's very commercial and crowded. The other orchards seemed more family oriented.

You can stop at High Hill if you just want to walk and get different things, but Apple Hill is a group of farms that make it up. There is a map of all the farms that make up Apple Hill. Boa Vista is within Apple Hill but not a part of it. But you can still visit it.

You'll need to drive to the different farms.
