I don't know if any spots are open but I understand you can stay one night on the beach. When I was there, there were a few groups camped for at least 3 days on the beach.
Definitely Not this weekend! I had to leave Friday... there are some dry camping spots just past the campground overlooking the beach.
Camping spots usually not. Gotta make reservations well in advance.
