Is there railing and things on the tour to keep smaller children safe? Like a 5 year old and 3 year old?

There are rails and family friendly. I wouldn't let them run off on their own, of course, but pretty safe otherwise. Hope this helps!

Yes the cavern has paved walkways and railings. Parents bring children of that age to visit all the time. As long as they stick close to Mom or Dad during the tour they ought to do fine.

As everyone else has answered yes there's rails. The terrain is steep and can get slick if it rains. The cave and tour guides are super friendly. This is one if not our most favorite cave. As always just keep your kiddos close so they will remain safe.
