This place has continually shown piss poor care for critical patients. If you have a cold, you will be safe but if your body is filling up with fluid you’ll be sat to wait in the ER for hours. We explained again but they have a real issue there. Said they would send a nurse out to talk to us and never did. We finally left and went to northwest.

Went to Mercy Hospital 3 times in one week for testing and had very good experiences each time. I found the staff friendly and professional. I didn’t have to wait long to be called in. I felt the facility was clean and safe. I was prepared in advance what to expect for my tests, as well as the costs. Handicap accessible.

Went here last summer for suspected appendicitis. I could hardly walk and was limping because my lower right side of my body was hurting so bad that when I moved my right leg it would put me through horrible pain. I was pleased with the waiting time, I think it was about 20-30 minutes maybe? But anyways the doctor pressed on my side and told me that nothing was wrong and I asked him if it could be my ovary cause it felt like the pain was going on in that area. He dismissed the thought and charged my mother a lot for just pressing on me. I’m fine now, and to this day I still don’t know what the pain was. Maybe an ovarian cyst.

I have gone year for a little over a year now, and the best experience I have had was during labor. Every nurse I had was a perfect example of kindness and passion. Ashley was my first l&d nurse and I never got to thank her for every sweet word she said and every time she made me smile! Ashley if u see this you are amazing!

If you call the ER, a triage nurse can speak with you and give you guidance. If something like a heart attack is your concern, you should call 911.
Does anyone at Mercy know people are asking questions here?
I am sorry-your request for opinions- does not include enough information to validate any opinion. *Was a patient, (or patients) ahead of U, because: *they stopped breathing? *heart stopped? *a stroke? *bodily part severed? *insulin issues? *seizure? *gun shot? *brain hemorrage? *(etc) None of us know ANY of these things - & unless you see someone as they come in, and unless you can read their chart- you don't either. Secondly: Your description of the head injury doesn't tell us- within the list of triage importance, it falls. Was the head injury: *causing massive blood loss? *dizziness? *loss of consciousness? *seizures *vomiting? Finally, upon treatment -how many stitches (or staples) did the open laceration require? Many times- we all wonder why we have to wait SO long, when what WE need wouldn't take "too long". It is hard not to become impatient & to question those that we-re waiting for. I hope the injury that u speak of, has been taken care of, expertly.
I think it only extends to Springdale
I really don't know... Best bet it's to Google it..
WhT happened to her
I don't know and I don't care. I moved here from another state and tried Mercy a couple of times and after them not wanting to give me my meds that I've been taking for years I went to Northwest and love Northwest. Never will go back to Mercy ever again!
189, I believe.
104 is the typical threshold for urgent action. Fever usually responds better to acetaminophen, or ibuprofen... Or by alternating between the two.
The front doors on the first floor open at 7 a.m. You can always enter on the emergency room side on the second floor those doors never close
