Elderly add a particular subjectivity to the idea of traversing the environment around the caverns. If it has rained in close proximity to the trip then the terrain will be rather slick. The whole environment is relatively sloped, but I can only speak from the point of view of a 20 year old. I hope this was useful
Wear tennis shoes. We had a few older adventurers and they did fine. We also looked out for each other too😁
The floors of the cave are wet, but I didn't slip when I stepped carefully. Be especially careful on small inclines within the cave. There are a few parts in the cave where you have to walk and duck your head down because of the low ceilings. Exiting the cave and going back up to the entrance is the most difficult part. The closest way is quite steep, but you can go back the way you came down instead. Have fun, it's beautiful there.
There is a gradual sloping path down to the cave entrance. And the floors of the cave can be wet and slippery. But if you wear a good pair of tennis shoes, you should be fine. 😄
