We went on a weekday and there were only 4 of us on the tram. My husband is very claustrophobic and he didn't have any problems. We thought there was plenty of space. A few overhead places to watch for but not closed in.
There is lots of room in the cavern. The trailer you ride on through the cabin is open with seats on both sides. Not as claustrophobic as an airplane. If you cannot stand to sit right next to someone I'm sure the staff would figure a way to accommodate you. You may have to wait a little longer. It's worth it.
The trams are usually pretty full. You'll be in close quarters with a lot of people. One person can ride up front with the driver. A couple of spots the ceiling hangs very low in fact some people had to duck in order to not touch the ceiling. Other than that it's pretty wide open.
It bothered me a bit at first but got better as the tour went on. Good luck!
Depends on how severe
The space in the cavern is fairly open. You do ride through so I would check to see how many people are riding. We went right as they opened so our tour was small.
There is lots of room in the caverns. You should be OK
Nope
