I had the same issue with myson. Apparently they are switching from the old computer systems from the 80's to the new one which they have migrating everyone's information over. My son had been approved yet his # wouldn't show up when registering for a medical plan. I called the DHS office and it was a matter of them physically filling out a separate from of their own and having to fax it to Springfield. It took another 3 weeks for the problem to get corrected, most likely due to Republican cuts to helping the poor. I would follow up with a representative from DHS and politely state your concerns and inform them that the transition between computer systems might be causing some problems which will be needed to be looked into manually and corrected manually. Hopefully you get someone who is knowledgeable and aware of what is needed to resolve the issue. Keep in mind, getting upset and demanding anything will definitely get you nowhere. Treat people with respect
This place is terrible in my opinion concerning timelines and follow up. There is a way to contact them via email through their website. You'll have to set up an account if you haven't already. The details surrounding the response will be giving to you at the time you submit the email. Good luck to you!
It took a long time for me to get approved as well.. my suggestion is to go into the location and speak with a caseworker. I did that a few months ago and she pushed my case thru and was approved on the same day. If you just sit around and wait, then you're pretty much sitting stagnant in a 'pile' with thousands and thousands of other people.
