Yes i kayak with my own often, never have i had a problem with other boats in 16 years!!!!! When it is windy there are waves but you have that with any lake! You can also wind surf if you have one of those!

There is a 10 hp limit for motorboats on the lake so wake should not be a huge problem. Most fisherman use electric to troll. You would be good to use your paddleboard or kayak on any part of the lake especially during the week when there are fewer people out there.
