In the picnic area I didn't see open fire pits but they did have then in the camping area.. I don't think taking your own grill would be a problem
Yes We used the firepit for bond fire only.
It's a good place for the picnic area I do recommend
It's a public state park and yes, I've known people to cook their catch right there at the park.
