I am looking for a place I can throw up my tent as close to or even right on the beach for a weekend, any chance this place has beach front sites?

You have to go down the beach quit a bit away from tge actual campground. If you go to the national Forest website, they explain it more, but you cant camp on tge beaches that are part of the campground.

We are planning on coming here in late July. All of the reservable sites are booked. What are the chances that we can snag one of the other sites (first come first serve) on a Friday afternoon? Should we come on Thursday instead? Or backup plan? TX
