Being a State Forezt campground I would say that the forest service would have it tested on a regular basis. Our family has been camping in that state gorezt for years, whetjer in that particular campground or one of the other ones with no problems or adverse affects. Many time with small children and babies.

Not sure! My dad is in his 60s and we've used water from the well there since i was born 36 years ago and he's went since he was a boy with his partners so we use it several times a year while up north for 60 years now and we have never encountered problems. My guess is they do test it every spring. When they test the lake water!

I emailed the DNR directly and he said that yes it does get tested, infact they are required to have it tested four times a year. The last testing was done in August and there were no issues.
