we have never camped here before but would like to the end of September, any suggestions as to some good camping sites, and are there any modern sites with full hookup? Appreciate your suggestions.

River mouth campgrounds are a good choice. The modern has electrical hookup but I like the peacefulness of the rustic site. Since it's the end of September, be aware of chilly temps at night.
