Yes a great place to walk
Year round! A great place to walk or bicycle too! There is a paved trail that crosses the road into the park just before the entrance that goes all the way into Murrel's Inlet with all the restaurants and bars to the North, and Brookgreen Gardens with botanical gardens, outdoor gardens and animal exhibits across SC17 just South off the trail with a very nice trail of their own.
