You can dress as nice as you want. I have seen people in jeans and others wearing a tux. I would not wear shorts or t-shirts, but business casual fine. Shorts are fine in Marco Polo.
It's Kansas City. Be clean, don't be a schlub. It's a nice place, so wear nice clothes.
