We didn't have to wait on a weekday around 6:30pm but I saw on their website where you can purchase VIP tickets to skip the line if its something you're concerned about.

We were 3rd in line last weekend. Basically no wait! I'm sure as the holidays get closure you can expect a little wait. But the line moves steadily.
When I went there was no wait at all but I went pretty early in the day.
You should book your tour in advance.
