Is this campground open to the public to swim? We are looking to spend an entire day at the lake morning to sunset. Is there any spots close to the water that has a picnic table and bbq that can be used?

There is a small roped off area to swim. They even have some life vests to borrow. I believe there are tables but I'm not sure about BBQ pits. There may be a day fee to enter the campground.

Yes you can swim there daily. You just have to pay the daily fee for swimming.
