Park rules signs include no fishing in section of can't dos. Also, there are signs specifically telling visitors to not feed the waterfowl bread because it could kill them. Saw multiple families bringing in bags of bread and buns and throwing to the geese and ducks. There are machines with pellets that cost only 25 cents. Do people not read the rules which are there for good reasons. From some of the questions here, you should contact Spartanburg Park's Dept about their rules and fee for renting shelters and birthday parties.
No fishing 🙁 but if you want to go to a park that has fishing go to Camp Croft. They have playgrounds, fishing, boat rental. Great place to have a wonderful day or weekend can also camp there.
