Does the park still have the train? I haven't been in Spartanburg since i moved to NC as a kid in the early 90s. I know about the incident, but wanted to know since my upcoming trip will bring me through Spartanburg.

Thanks for reaching out. After the accident the train was removed from the park, and replaced with a larger playground.

No the train is no longer there but the park itsself is so beautiful and well maintained. Defiantly worth a stop

No they don't. After the kid got killed a few years ago they got rid of it
