Hi Louella, There are a number of reasons a printer may indicate that there is a paper jam even though it looks like there is no jam. Most often it's a very small piece of paper causing the issue that is not visible because its deep inside the paper feed mechanism. The other possibility is that the sensor is malfunctioning. If its the sensor then it's time for a new printer. The cost of most printers is so low that you can replace the printer for less than the cost of even an inexpensive printer repair.
