Good morrning, Maggie goes to a groomer that has mentioned giving her benedryl before her coming as she doesn't do well with the use of the hair dryer and she has accidents/stool during this. Is this safe to do? Maggie is brought to you.

Benadryl can be safe if used properly and recommended by your vet. If shes a current patient with us, call into the clinic and ask the receptionist to reach out to her Vet. will can figure out something.

I give my 3 lb. Chihuahua cherry flavored children's benadryl. Grape is toxic to dogs. Just the smallest amt. He is so small 0.2. Helps him relax and stop itching. Hope this helps ...good luck.
