I do not know how you got a cat spayed here for $10. I had my G'daughter take a stray here to be spayed, and they charged me a total of $360. I called and they broke down the charges for me. The initial cost for the spayed is $195. She was in heat, another $50. A collar (?) $15. Flea treatment $15. The rest of the charges was everything they could take on. The total was $360. I have been taking care of strays & feral cats for 20 yrs, and even though not many Vets will help you with this charge, it usually averages $70, and extra for rabies shot. I could have had 5 cats spayed for this at Crosby Vet. I went for convenience, because I live in Highlands, but, no more. I had never used then before, and never will again.
