Absolutely picnic there..the park had tons of amazing spots..take your pick..also there are two food venues there..one serves alcohol
I would think that would be ok on the grasses.
You can set up a picnic in the open areas - the Great Lawn underneath the net is an amazing spot!
its best by the water falls very enjoyable area, plus the yard is nice and grass is smooth enough to sit on.
