What's up with the 31% liquor tax that isn't in the price of the drinks but they add on to the bill? They have no signs nor is there any mention of it on the drink menu. Is this business practice approved by the BBB or the chamber of commerce?

Its state law. They consider it a tourist tax. Liquor, food, and hotels.

They intentionally hide that tax until they give you your tab. The waitress admitted that it was odd that they didn't add it into the advertised price because most other places do.
