Yes to primitive camping, but its in the campground. Not much back country hiking. Most of the park is tidal marsh. From now through the summer, the mosquitoes and gnats are fierce.

If you're looking for backcountry, no. The campground has paved roads and flush toilets, also short hiking trails. You may be able to do something with a kayak. The water looks inviting.
