We held a family reunion picnic at the park last Friday (8/9/19) and reserved the covered pavilion with a large grill. Clusters of picnic tables, all with grills, were in the same area. The picnic area is not on the beach. It’s a shady area near the Coast Guard Station with parking along the south side of the channel and has bathrooms, drinking fountains, and a lovely playground.
They used to have grill's, i learned how to start charcoal their. However that was many year's ago and they've been taken out and replaced with a restaurant
