There is a boardwalk. I'm not sure about approximate length, but it spans the majority of the larger trails in this park!
The boardwalk is roughly a rectangular loop and is very well maintained. The boardwalk trail is 2.2 miles plus the walk from the visitors center. There are 20 markers and numerous benches along the way. Be sure to stop in the visitors center and pick up the flyer for the Self-Guided Boardwalk Tour so you have the descriptions for each of the 20 markers.
Yeah, the boardwalk is 2.5 miles one way. 5 mile round trip!
According to the park website, the Boardwalk Loop Trail is a round-trip distance of 2.4 miles - starting and ending at the Harry Hampton Visitor Center.
Some folks say 2.5 miles, 5 miles, 1 mile. Which is it?
2.5 miles is the board walk. With other trails on packed dirt.
There is a shorter board walk loop that's about a mile
Sometimes a portion of the boardwalk will be closed for a tree falling. To really enjoy the big trees take the six hour hike through the big loop. Majestic.
Yes, a very nice boardwalk/hike. I think it a little over 2 miles.
2.4 miles total. It's a loop.
