1: My son was seen once a month, every month for six months, starting when he was just 11 months old due to asthma related conditions (wheezing, coughing, and congestion). The pediatrician essentially refused to send a referral to an allergist, citing that children under age five wouldn’t receive an asthma diagnosis. Ok, fine. But can you treat my child’s symptoms, please? The doctor did not even want to write a prescription for albuterol (for his breathing treatments). And when they did, they wrote it for one tiny box of it. 2: The wait times are unimaginably long (20-30mins in the waiting room, 20-30 between height/weight and doctor coming in, another 20-30 if vaccines are necessary) making appointments often run over 2 hours for a simple well child visit, longer if your child is sick. 3: The staff at the front desk are often rude, impatient, and sometimes seemingly incompetent, or worse, a combination of all three. 4: After an appointment fiasco. I made an appointment for my wheezing child, again. Came to said appointment, no pediatrician there that day - said they (front desk staff) “got mixed up”. Ok, let’s make another appointment then. They inadvertently canceled another appointment for another day, again a “mix up”. Instead of scheduling a third appointment, I simply had my children’s records sent to another provider. When my wheezing child was seen by their new doctor, he was referred to an allergist immediately without my asking. Allergist has confirmed that he does in fact have asthma, a terrible case of it, especially for a two year old. Please protect your kids and take them elsewhere.

Staff is polite and friendly. Unfortunately, it takes several days to get a prescription refilled. I would suggest calling a week after you get the prescription filled for the next time. Takes a very long time. Be prepared. If you are running low start calling. Speak to a live nurse as no one calls you to let you know if you request for a refill was ever ok'd. I am on day 4 without my meds. They have been called everyday and pharmacy has faxed request and still nothing.
