Adding to the other two comments, if I had to give away a beloved animal, I wouldn't trust anywhere else to take it. Your babies will be in a new loving home very quickly.
The humane society prefers to take in cats via appointment. I dropped my 3 yo siamese-mixed girl off about 10 days after calling them and leaving a number. If you can wait for an appointment, they are a good place to send them.
I believe they will take them. We just adopted a kitten and it sounded like they don't turn any pets away and never euthanize
