yeah thats a rule but I dont understand who would enforce that, High schools get out around 3:30. How the hell do you expect them to get there before 4, whats if its for a special occasion?
The yep policy is that anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian 21 or older after 4pm on Friday and Saturday. It was started because of violence and guns being brought into the mall regularly by high schoolers. Since the policy went into place it has decreased majorly.
I believe that to be true but it's referring to minors unescorted by an adult and is an attempt to prevent clusters of youth that may not be upstanding citizens. I imagine one or two young adults shopping and not loitering would be left to enjoy the mall.
Yes this is a rule. It is called the YEP (Youth Escort Policy) and it is only effective Fridays and Saturdays 4pm-9pm. Anybody who appears to be under the age of 18 that does not appear to be with a Parent or Guardian will be stopped by Mall Security and asked for ID for proof of age. If anybody under the age of 18 is not accompanied by a parent or guardian they will be asked to leave the mall.
I totally agree, the mall was one of the most popular place to hang out for 13 to 18 years olds. But now not so popular
Yes, there is. The mall security enforces. There was to much trouble going on, then a shotting amongst the kids
Madison pd also is there on them days as well
The policy is only enforced on Fridays and Saturdays.
It’s only Friday and Saturday nights to prevent theft
