Not the best place for fishing. It's a long hike to the water from anywhere in the park. However if you really want to fish try San-Lee park just outside of Sanford N.C. it's just a short ride from Raven Rock. It's a beautiful park that let's you fish and rent paddle boats, feed ducks or enjoy a nice walk.
It is a long hike to the water, better fishing is at the lake in Sanford as stated above.

You can if you travel farther down stream kind of a long hike mostly steams through out the wooded paths, there is an area that has falls and more water access at the end of the longest trail but it is quite far like several miles long this is more of a hiking walking, overlook, and rockfaces, picnic area. Jordan lake might be better for fishing.
I don't know how good the catch is but I know there are spots to Fish.
