Last time I went I put a rope in at the falls to make it easier to cross but last time I was walking thru the water with no footwear and got a piece of a shell n my foot poured blood the 3 mile hike back but yes u can go in the water Just make sure u have a plan if u fall because it will be a really bad few seconds in the currents, never been to the fish traps tho juet Lanier falls, the walk. Is about 1.7 miles n and about the same out if you come. I'm by the picnic area and take the trail that leads. U to the fish traps and stay left if u go to the Lanier falls. Trail it is like 2.5 miles n which is a really great trail as well but if u take the first trail u will come to an end of trail sign just keep going it has a footpath u will cross over a tree overhanging a creek and keep right after that
There aren't many water points. You can go in bvb the falls (not really a "water fall"). I've seen more people in the water st the fish traps trail
Its a long walk. I couldnt make it. Grankids said to never bring them there again
Yes however, be sure you're aware of the latest rainfalls and current water level conditions. You don't want to be down in the river where you can normally wade around in and it overpower you.
And lots of stairs!! Bring water!
Yes
Yes but it's about a mile hike.
