No. It is a preserved Civil War fort. There are biking and walking trails. The only camping done there is during reenactments in period attire and period tents like they would have slept in during the Civil War. On May 28th we are having a Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery for the Union dead at Fort Duffield and for American veterans. There will be an opportunity to look around the fort, which has two cabins in the fort and one just outside the fort.
You can right next to it on the river, the guy that runs it was kind of a jerk though, we seen him twice in different years and he was a jerk both times, I think that's the only spot to camp right there though.
