loved the resort , but as others have said it's nice for family time.
There is good internet connection and Dish Satellite. The closest town is thirty minutes away that has any shopping or restaurants. We liked the tranquility as an escape from the Hussle and stress of a busy life. Modern teens might find it very boring unless they like to read, play board or card games, take in the rich history of the area or enjoy family time, which is rare now days. But, they can stay connected online and stream their entertainment. There is a large kitchen if you like to cook and a large counter separating it from the dinning and living room. Very comfortable accommodations.
No.....we we're there in October and it was unusually cold. But our room was very comfortable and clean. We did use the BBQ grill and had steaks. Very peaceful and relaxing.
No. There is very little for anyone to do, especially in March! Nothing much in the area. They have a beautiful outdoor pool, I would imagine closed in March. The area is filled with history - but these attractions maybe seasonal. Couple hour drive to the outer banks, but not the best time of the year for beaching it. Loved the resort, only about 12 units. Large units, but we were there the week the pool opened and the ones in it - this was late July. We are also seniors and the quiet was wonderful.
No there's only an out door pool
