First I would like to say that Buffy Rawls, the property manager was very courteous and professional. She went over the rules and regulations.we had talked for 2 days and everything was in order. Ok fast forward to today , I get a call from Vickie , who Is property manager stating that I cannot stay there because I am a local. Mind you my address is 1.5 hours away. There is nothing listing my County as a place that is not allowed there. My aunt is blind and myself and a couple family members wanted to take her out for the weekend, she was very excited until this morning when I received the call😏.plus she was rude and telling me that I needed to be quiet and listen to her speak. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Even said If I ever stayed there that I could only bring one vehicle. Highly recommend not staying here

Enjoyed a peaceful stay. Beautiful sunsets. Large spacious units. Quaint towns in the area. Place is great for adults to unwind.

Very comfortable place to getaway for the week or weekend! Extremely clean and modern look, and gorgeously furnished... Our suite had 2.5 full bathrooms and two bedrooms... met with property manager, Jeff, he was very nice and welcoming... can’t wait to go back again!!

The place is absolutely breathtaking... A Piece of paradise, we have traveled a lot and if you are looking to relax , enjoy the water look no further this location is everything we could have hoped for. There is not much around the closest grocery store of restaurant is 15-20 minutes, we got grocery the first day and looking forward to enjoy the rest of the time doing nothing!!!

Food Lion in Plymouth. Covienent store a mile or two towards hwy 64 going away from the bridge near the resort. Edenton across the bridge is probably closer, but not familiar with grocery stores there. Sure they have them, not sure where.
It's a beautiful Resort. However, if your looking for a nice place to eat, you will have to travel about 30 miles. There, is local dining of fast foods, and diners about 10-15 miles away.

Mayflies blow in off the sound at night during the hatching season. It's not just the resort, it's the whole town and entire area. Nature my friend, nature. The birds love them and will give you quite a show diving and dancing through the air catching them the morning after they blow in. The aerial acrobatics are amazing.

The pool is open and the hot tub is open there as well. I went the last week in Aug and it was nice. Not sure when the whole resort will be finished but the part that is finished is great
