We are thinking about coming over the Labor Day holiday...arriving on Monday and departing on Tuesday. Are the shops and restaurants in the town of Syracuse closed for the holiday? Also, do you still offer the boat ride in the evening?

Hello there, Gloria! As Austin indicated, some business may be open on the holiday. Our restaurant will be operating on the typical hours of service but other dining and shopping establishments may adjust their opening and closing hours. Our tour boat ride will be available (weather permitting) and for hotel guests, the ride is complimentary Sunday through Thursday. If you're interested, it departs at 6:30pm. Syracuse is a tourist hub so while some of the chain restaurants are closed such as taco bell and McDonald's, you can still find some local family owned establishments that will be open. I know for sure Joe's Ice Cream Supreme is open and that's a local favorite!
