Go to council for the homeless first. They will assess you and send your paperwork to share aspire within a week. This is the ones on Andresen across from Winco between 4th plain and mill plain. Share Aspire will contact you within a week and schedule you to come in and see which program you qualify for. Then they help you to understand and give you paperwork for the program you qualify for. I'm not sure how long it will take to get you into a place BUT I was in a place within 4 months. No income can quality you for the hen program. I didn't quality for this as I have an income. But I did qualify for one of the other programs. Just over 4 months from start to finish. They will help you with the job hunt too. Otherwise go to Goodwill on 4th plain just west of Andresen. They will be of more help in finding a job.

Start with Council for Homeless. On Anderson. You need to do a rapid housing assessment. Also check out the Navigation center on grand, off of 4th plain. I'm what they call chronic homelessness. But thru the Share Aspire Program, I'm off the street. Let's not let that happen to you. PM me for further questions.
