Actually it's $7 per vehicle in state $8 for out of state
Admission is $7. Per car load, or you can purchase a yearly pass for $50 that will get you in every State Park in Indiana for the entire year January 1st through December 31st. If you want to swim it will cost you extra at mounds park. Admission to the park is not per person it's per carload. If you live in Indiana it is $7 per carload, and if you live outside of Indiana it is $8 per carload. During the off time and slow months, there is not a person at the gate during the week Monday thru Thursday so you may get in free, but during the summer months there is someone at the gate all 7 days per week and you will be charged whenever the gate is occupied. Personally, I Live 5 minutes from mounds park, and I take my dog for a walk there every day. So I pay for a $50 yearly pass every year, and that not only gets me in without a charge but it also lets me go to other state parks in Indiana without getting a charge.
For those 65 years old and older, annual passes are 25$.
