It is adequate for the traffic. If the lot is full or if you want free parking, go to the school across the street and park there in the summer.
For the beautiful walk & soak in the sand+water, it's worth parking @school site across, if there isn't sufficient parking lot.
There was a lot of spaces available when I was there. It will be difficult to find nearby space, but I truly don't believe that will be an issue.
