Lovely public park. There is a path through a pine forest, one that lets in dappled light, the kind of forest where you look around and realize how easy it would be to get lost there without a guide. A great place for a hike or a run.

Beautiful trails with access to the beach. Lots of stairs, so wear good beach shoes (not flip flops). Walk on the path through the trees, they are so tall and gorgeous!

Very beautiful! You can go swimming as well. Mind the hike though it's about 1.5 miles to and from the beach. Very worth it though.

One of the best park's along Lake Michigan's coast! Definitely worth visiting ☺️🌅 The diversity of the landscape is truly stunning! 🌲🌳🌾 You could spend a several hours here absorbing all the wonders of nature. I highly recommend coming …

It is adequate for the traffic. If the lot is full or if you want free parking, go to the school across the street and park there in the summer.
We noticed on the trail app that most of the trails stopped where they were close to the Dunes, but this park doesn't actually let you climb the natural dune area. There was a trail that led right up to the beach though.
Out house is cold but functional. Be aware, dim lighting. Also the floor can be slippery so be cautious when hovering!
Can park here and use the bike path along lake shore drive, but not in the park.
