9 am to 430 PM except on Sunday. They are open 1230 to 430 on Sunday during the summer.
Hi Renee! The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 4:30 pm and on Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm. You are welcome to dig in the fossil pits in the Fossil Park from dawn to dusk. If you are arriving before the museum opens or staying, we ask that you check in, say hello, and sign our guest registry when we are open. Hope to see you in Aurora soon!
The piles you dig through are outside. I think you can dig daylight hours
