As one wrote on the web, the short answer is NO. I don't understand the need to use 3rd party apps to pay with? I get it if it's a bank account, however if a retailer has stopped accepting these forms of payment, rest assured it has to do with the fees Apple is charging. In order to keep their prices low they will stop accepting various forms of payment. If you have a regular bank account or a service that gives you a debit card use that over these pay apps. Its redundant and another form of privacy invasion, but this one is your financial info. If you don't know the word Proprietary loom it up, it's the excuse Apple uses to keep and control those who buy their expensive merchandise and software.
I work for walmart they do not accept apple pay or any other pay but walmart pay you link your card or your bank card to the app and pay that way. You will have to have the Wal-Mart app to do this
Not sure every time I go and pay it's either slide your car or stick your chip in the machine to pay
