Yes there is a big petting place towards the back of the zoo and in random location s around the zoo. Also, they feed the animals at 1:00. Also, you can get the opportunity to hold baby animals.
Yes they do allow petting of quite a few different animals. They had a baby porcupine and baby kangaroo you could hold and get pictures with when we went on mother's day.
